Paul Klee und Fausto Melotti. Eine Blume tritt auf

Paul Klee and Fausto Melotti. A Flower Performs

Paul Klee (1879–1940) and Fausto Melotti (1901–1986): These two exceptional artists never met, but there is an atmospheric relationship inherent to their works that the comprehensive catalog demonstrates through numerous illustrations and supports with knowledgeable texts by established experts on both artists.

The works of the painter Klee and the sculptor Melotti speak a similar language that, through the use of lines, develop a overarching structure and bring together figurative and abstract elements. Their proximity to musical principles of composition and the lightness of expression that is humorous and yet melancholy at the same time characterize their work.
