Each time a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated on one of the individual pages of this website, the Internet browser on the user's information technology system is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to download a representation of the corresponding YouTube component from YouTube. Further information on YouTube can be found at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of which specific subpage of the website is visited by the user.
Beck & Eggeling GmbH uses the option »extended data protection mode« provided by YouTube. According to YouTube, in extended data protection mode, data is only transmitted to the YouTube server when the user is watching the video, i.e. not when opening a page with an embedded YouTube video.
If the user is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific subpage of the website the user is visiting by calling up a subpage containing a YouTube video. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the user.
YouTube and Google receive via the YouTube component information that the user has visited the website whenever the user is logged in to YouTube at the same time as accessing the website; this occurs regardless of whether the user clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the user does not wish this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google in this way, he may prevent it from being transmitted by logging out of his YouTube account before accessing this website.

When a user calls up a Beck & Eggeling GmbH website that contains such a plugin, his browser establishes a direct connection with the servers of the operators of the social network. The content of the plugin is transmitted by the operator of the social network directly to the user's browser and integrated into the website by the user. Beck & Eggeling GmbH cannot exclude the transmission and further processing of the personal data of the users in third countries, such as the USA, collected by the operators of the social networks via the plug-ins, as well as the associated possible risks for the users.
If a user is a member of a social network and does not want the operator of the social network to collect data about him through this service and to link it to his member data stored on the social network, he must log out of the social network before visiting the website.

Beck & Eggeling GmbH maintains social media profiles in the social networks Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Artnet and Artsy. The operators of the social networks are mentioned above under 2.7.
Beck & Eggeling GmbH operates social media profiles in order to draw attention to its products and services and to make contact with visitors and users of social networks and the website.
The legal basis for the operation of the social media profiles, including the processing of users' personal data, is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest of Beck & Eggeling GmbH is to offer a modern and supportive opportunity for information and interaction for and with its users and visitors.
As the operator of its social media profiles, Beck & Eggling GmbH is not interested in the collection and further processing of individual personal user data for analysis or marketing purposes. However, Beck & Eggeling GmbH would like to point out that the social networks collect personal user data and may also process it for the following purposes: Advertising (analysis, creation of personalised advertising), creation of user profiles, market research.
The social networks use cookies to store and further process this information, i.e. small text files that are stored on the various end devices of the users. If the user also has a profile with the social network and is logged in to it, the storage and analysis also takes place across devices.
Information on what data is processed and used by social networks and for what purposes can be found in the data protection declarations of the social networks. The corresponding links are already mentioned above under 2.7.
Beck & Eggeling GmbH as operator of the social media profiles cannot exclude the transmission and further processing of personal data of the users of the social media profiles in third countries, such as the USA, as well as the associated possible risks for the users.
So-called "Insights" on social networks provide Beck & Eggling GmbH with statistical data of various categories. These statistics are generated and provided by the social networks. Beck & Eggeling GmbH, as operator of the social media profiles, has no influence on the creation and presentation of these profiles. Beck & Eggeling GmbH cannot deactivate this function or prevent the generation and processing of data. For a selectable period as well as for different categories of users, Beck & Eggeling GmbH receives the following data from the social networks for the respective social media profile: Total number of page views, "Like" information, page activities, post interactions, reach, video views, post reach, comments, shared content, responses, proportion of men and women, country and city origin, language, shop views and clicks, route planner clicks, phone number clicks. Due to the constant development of social networks, the availability and processing of data changes, so that Beck & Eggeling GmbH refers to the above-mentioned data protection declarations of social networks for further details. Beck & Eggeling GmbH uses these data available in aggregated form to make its contributions and activities on its social media profiles more attractive. In accordance with the terms of use of the social networks, to which each user has agreed in the context of creating their own social media profile, Beck & Eggeling GmbH can identify subscribers and fans of their social media profiles and view their profiles and other shared information.
If users no longer wish to receive the data processing described above in the future, they can cancel the connection of their user profile to the social media profiles of Beck & Eggeling GmbH by using the functions »I no longer like this page« and/or »I no longer subscribe to this page«.
3. Disclosure of data to third parties
Except in the cases described in this privacy policy, the above data will only be disclosed to third parties without the express consent of the user if an obligation to do so exists by law or an official or judicial order.
4. Location of data storage
Unless otherwise described in this data protection declaration, the processing of personal data takes place exclusively in computer centres which are within the scope of the GDPR.
5. Storage period
Personal data will be deleted if their knowledge is no longer required for the purposes described in this privacy policy, unless statutory provisions require longer storage.

The user as well as all other persons possibly affected by the use of data by Beck & Eggeling GmbH are entitled to information about the personal data stored about them and, if the respective legal requirements are met, to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data transfer. If the data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DS-GVO, there is also the right to revoke the underlying consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
