In addition to varied exhibitions, the Kunstmuseum Bonn is now once again directing attention to its own collection, which is being presented in a new way with its many and varied aspects also including purchases and donations from recent years as well as permanent loans from private collections.

The new presentation of the collection, which main focus is on contemporary painting, also discusses the visual possibilities of photography. Hartmut Neumann is represented in two rooms with a comprehensive collection of his photographs, which he donated to the museum.
